"The veil"
The curtain separating the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place was torn in two from top to bottom at Jesus’ death, symbolizing that the barrier between God and humanity was removed. This truly was God’s work; no earthly creature or vandal could have torn the curtain this way. Now all people are free to approach God because of Christ’s sacrifice for our sins
